Update 3

Here's a few pics about on making the 7 wire cables. They come in a bundle of 40 like above. I just split off 7. Use a needle to lift the little lock to release the cable.

Then line them up into the 7p header.

Once lined up with the crimp facing up toward the plastic locks, you just push them in and they lock into place.

See the little piece of the crimped connector showing. It's sitting against the little locks.

This is a picture of the one 9V battery that I remove to allow more room for the cables to exit. Since I will be using Lipo only, I don't need the 9V hardware. If you wanted to do this with a 9V system, you could drill a hole to have the cables come out.

I push the bundle through about 3-4 wires at a time. After they are through that 9v connector opening, I put the 7p header on them (as it won't fit through the hole).
