Method 3 - Repurpose soundtracks I can provide for you

I created 5 placeholder shows with 5 unique placeholder soundtracks. I can provide both the soundtrack files and the .HBS files that are associated with them. The .HBS are empty shows with only the soundtrack set.

To use these provided files, you'll need to download the FinaleSoundtracks.zip file (located at the bottom of this page) and place the files in the proper directories.

The soundtrack files should go into the following directory:

C:\Users\YOUR USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\FINALE Fireworks\sound\user\api\usermedia\sound\1000713\item

You should already have a directory like:

C:\Users\YOUR USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\FINALE Fireworks\sound\user\api\usermedia\sound\YOUR FINALE ID\item

The supplied .HBS files need the soundtrack files from MY FINALE ID. So you'll need to create the 1000713\item directories to place the soundtrack files.

The files/directories should look like this:

You can place the .HBS files from the FinaleSoundtracks.zip file into any directory.

They should look like this:

The filenames indicate which sound file they use.

For example, a new July 4th show could use the 16661492 soundtrack. Just replace the 16661497 file with your .mp3 file removing the .mp3 extension.

Load the Soundtrack_1_16661492.hbs and it should load the soundtrack from the 16661492 mp3 file. You can then save it as your July 4th sound and script as needed.

You could repeat the process for a New Years show using 1661494 soundtrack in a similar way.

The 5 .hbs / sound files will give you 5 future shows to use without duplicating or reusing anything you've already done.

I'm not sure if it's required, but it's probably best to update the files/directories while FinaleFireworks is not running and then start it when done.
