Cobra Status

This is some info on a Cobra Status project I was playing with back in 2013.

It was before there was a Cobra Control panel.

The video shows my Cobra Status running on a laptop using a Synapse device to listen to the Cobra signals being transmitted from the modules/remote.

It was a rough video, I didn't edit out the part where I wasn't getting a good connection on the wire.

Here's what the video is showing:

0:07 - Turn on Module c00

0:23 - Cobra Status picks up c00 status and displays it on the laptop

0:30 - Turn on Module c05

0:47 - Cobra Status picks up C05 status and displays it

0:54 - Turn on 18R2

1:08-1:24 - I tried to connect a talon to show the continuity change (But I wasn't getting a good connection on the module so Nothing changed)

1:40-1:48 - I fix the bad connection.

1:52 - Cobra Status picks up C05 cue 7 has continuity, Cobra Status changes cue 7 from Red (scripted but missing) to Green (scripted and good)

2:03 - I remove C05 cue 7

2:08 - Cobra Status updates C05 cue 7

2:15 - I connect C05 cue 13

2:15 - Cobra Status changes C05 cue 13 from Red (scripted but missing) to Green (scripted and good)

2:24 - I remove cue 13, Cobra status updates

2:25 - I connect C05 cue 17

2:33 - Cobra Status changes C05 cue 17 from White (Not in script/unused) to Light Blue (Not in script but connected) - It's hard to see color diference in video.

2:57 - The popup says it's unused/good, but you can't read it in the video.

3:06 - The popup tells the cue number/item description

3:26 - I Arm the system

3:36 - Cobra Status shows module c05 armed (c00 is in Test mode so it does not change)

3:57 - I change C00 from Test to Arm mode

4:09 - Cobra Status shows module c00 armed

Since Cobra now has a Control Panel that does Status and much more, I haven't messed with this project much lately.
